I met Jerri Rachelle in 1998 through work. I was an outside salesman for a company in New Britain CT. She was a purchasing agent for a Nursing Home who happened to be filling in for the receptionist who had gone to lunch. I was completely smitten. I eventually asked her out and she said yes. The rest is history.

This is a picture of our second date. We both took a day off from work. What a great day it was. We drove to Rocky Neck State Park on the Connectiuct shore. We both were huge country music fans and sang to the radio up and back. I clearly remember not wanting that day to end. We definitely both felt the connection.

This is a picture of a birthday party of a friend of Jerri's Mom. My Wife always dressed for the occasion. I loved that she liked to wear dresses. This party was about 6 months after we met. It would be at our First Date Anniversary that I asked Jerri to be my wife. It was 2 months after our engagement that Jerri was diagnosed wth MS. It was a tough blow but love conquers all.

This is a picture that was taken at Jerri's Wedding Shower. I was so head over heals for my wife. I actually bought the dress she is wearing. I loved shopping for my wife. Beautiful inside & out.

My wife Jerri and her Dad Jerry walking down the isle. We were married at Harkness Memorial State Park in Stonington Connecticut. It was actually a 2 year wait for this venue. The day could not have been more beautiful. August 10th 2002.

Our Wedding Party. From left to right. My daughter Renae Bridesmaid, My Daughter Kaleigh Maid of Honor (Jerri's daughter whom I adopted).Jerri Rachelle, Justice of the Peace, Myself, My son Casey Best Man, My nephew Bradford Ringbearer.

Our Wedding was very small. About 40 close family and friends.

This is a picture of the mansion where we were married. It was once privately owned. The mansion and the huge acreage around it was donated to the State of Connecticut. It's Gorgeous!

Cutting the cake. The song "Your Love Is Better Than Ice Cream" Sarah Mclachlan played while the cake was being cut. Jerri planned Our Wedding herself...every detail. She was amazing!

Our First Dance. Our song was "When You Say Nothing At All" Sung by Jerri's absolutely favorite female artist "Alison Krauss".

Gardens at Harkness Memorial State Park. Great Photgrapher

Our Mom's at our reception after our Honeymoon in Maine. Jerri's Mom Nancy on the right and my Mom Margaret on the left. Jerri's Mom passed away in 2003 a year after our wedding. My mom passed away in 2017. Two very wonderful Mom's. Blessed.

Jerri Rachelle had an amazing attitude upon being diagnosed with MS and throughout all the years she struggled with the disease. "The only disability in life is a bad attitude"

This is a picture of Jerri when she lost her ability to walk. She never stopped smiling despite having a very agressive form of MS. It was right around 2008 from the time Jerri was diagnosed in 2000 that she became wheel chair bound. At that point with the help of my daughter Kaleigh we became Jerri's caretakers.

This is a picure of the blue floating chair we used in our pool. Jerri's favorite male artist was Kenny Chesney who sang a song called "Old Blue Chair". Chesneys song was an inspiration for a daytrip to the beach. The Summer before Jerri passed away I took the Blue Floating Chair To the Beach at Harkness Memorial State Park. The beach is for handicapped persons. I carried Jerri down to the water and helped her get in the chair. Her spirit soared! She stayed in the water 2 hours without a break and could not take the smile off her face. As it turns out it was our last of many times we visited the park where we we're married.

Every year around the time of our Anniversary Jerri and I would take a daytrip To Harkness Memorial State Park. Always on a Saturday hoping to see a couple be married there. This is a picture of our last visit to the park. We always felt so blessed!

We were always a great team. I jokingly told Jerri we were the "Blues Brothers Couple". Where would we be without laughter?

The last three pictures of us. Together 15 years. My inspiration. My Angel. Jerri passed from complications of MS July 4th 2013.
